Pictured above is Ms Kathleen McCarthy the DeCare/IFPDC Bursary Award winner for 2012. Kathleen is a Final Year Student in Cork University Dental Hospital and she was the clear winner of the Bursary Award. Her case presentation displayed several principles of treatment to an excellent standard with very clear planning and excellent execution. The standard of the presentation itself was extremely high and illustrated great insight for an undergraduate. Kathleen received a cheque for €750 and an inscribed vase.

Certificate in Implant Dentistry
9 day 9 month course (Fri/Sat) to teach modern implant dentistry within the scope of general practice to general practitioners with little or no experience in implant dentistry who would like to incorporate implant dentistry into their own practices safely and effectively.
The course involves clinical mentor training providing a more comprehensive experience and more chance of delegates acquiring the confidence and skill to practice surgical and prosthetic implantology independently.
